OpenAI released its native Data agent inside ChatGPT Work, featuring direct read and write connectors to Google BigQuery, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, ClickHouse, and MongoDB. The agent autonomously translates natural language business queries into executable SQL, renders interactive charts, and flags metric anomalies across company warehouses. The rollout eliminates manual pipeline scripting for routine business intelligence and reporting.
