NVIDIA Announces Acquisition of Hugging Face for $13 Billion

NVIDIA officially announced an agreement to acquire open-source AI platform Hugging Face for $13 billion in cash and stock. By integrating the world's preeminent open model registry directly with its CUDA, TensorRT-LLM, and NIM distribution pipelines, NVIDIA secures end-to-end control from silicon hardware to developer model discovery.
