Amazon announced three Alexa Tablets on October 8, 2026: Alexa Tablet 8, Alexa Tablet 11 and Alexa Tablet 12 Pro. Its own release says the devices run Android, include Google Play Store access and use aluminum unibody construction.
The US starting prices in the release are $229.99 for Tablet 8 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, $329.99 for Tablet 11 with 8GB RAM and 64GB storage, and $499.99 for Tablet 12 Pro with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Pro's Nanomatte option starts at $549.99. That higher option price should not be presented as the base Pro price.
Amazon says orders open on announcement day and the three tablets ship October 14 in the United States, Mexico and Canada. It lists October 19 for shipping in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. These are company-announced schedules, not independently verified delivery promises for an individual order.
Alexa+ is built in. Amazon describes On-Screen Intelligence, which can use active screen content for contextual help. The release says these screen features are off by default, require opt-in and show an indicator. Those are vendor-described controls, not an independent privacy audit.
The company advertises reading and video battery-life figures under different use conditions. Those measures should not be mixed or treated as guaranteed all-day performance. The new lineup's specifications also do not prove every app, accessory or workflow will match a competing iPad.
