Apple announced Apple Home Collection on October 13, 2026, describing smart-home accessories developed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. The lineup includes cameras, a video doorbell, thermostats, temperature sensors and a door lock. Availability begins in December, with select accessories arriving in early 2027 rather than all products shipping immediately.

The listed LG wired video doorbell starts at $249.95 in the U.S., the floodlight camera at $399.95, the plug-in outdoor camera at $299.95 and the indoor camera at $199.95. Apple lists those cameras for the U.S., Canada and UK. These U.S. prices should not be read as local prices in the other markets.

The LG smart deadbolt starts at $349.95 in the U.S. and is listed for the U.S. and Canada. LG and Schneider Home smart thermostats each start at $199.95 in the U.S., with their listed sensors starting at $39.95. Those thermostat and sensor offerings are also listed for the United States and Canada.

Apple says the accessories can be paired by tapping an iPhone and managed through its Home app, without a separate vendor app or account. NFC pairing requires an iPhone with current operating-system software. Additional functions vary by accessory and can require a compatible HomeView, HomePod or Apple TV home hub.

Camera event history through HomeKit Secure Video requires an iCloud+ subscription. Apple Intelligence video summaries and natural-language recording search need compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled setup and a supported subscription. Plan-dependent camera counts and features can change, so the hardware price alone does not establish the full ongoing cost.

Limits: installation accessories are sold separately, and Apple describes third-party professional installation from ADT in the U.S. for an additional charge. The release does not demonstrate household energy savings, independent security performance or compatibility with every door, heating system or existing camera. Buyers must check each accessory's requirements and market availability.
