Cohere announced a proposed agreement to acquire AISLE on October 15 and described plans for a new Cohere Cyber business. The source frames the transaction as proposed; it should not be reported as a completed acquisition.
AISLE develops AI systems intended to discover, validate and help fix previously unknown vulnerabilities in software. Cohere says the approach combines foundation models, security expertise, code analysis, validation and automated remediation. These are descriptions of the company's technology, not a guarantee that every vulnerability will be found or safely repaired.
The announcement says AISLE was founded in 2024. It reports more than 500 previously unknown vulnerabilities assigned CVEs across more than 100 codebases during the company's first year out of stealth. Those figures are Cohere's account of AISLE's results, rather than a performance measurement across all customer environments.
Cohere names planned leadership roles for AISLE's founders: Ondrej Vlcek for Cohere Cyber, Jaya Baloo as chief information security officer, and Stanislav Fort for AI security research. The company also plans further investment in Prague as a center for AI cybersecurity and autonomous security systems.
Cohere says the combined capabilities are expected to support security, governance and deployment across private cloud, on-premises and air-gapped settings. The announcement does not provide a new product price, a customer-wide availability date or detailed deployment terms for a combined offering.
What to watch: transaction completion, product integration and published customer requirements remain distinct milestones. Enterprises should assess the actual deployment boundary, data handling, permissions and review process for any security automation. A proposed acquisition and a list of intended benefits do not establish a verified reduction in breaches.
