MacRumors reported September 26 that its contributor Aaron Perris found images of three unreleased Apple products: the next iPad mini, new HomePod mini colors and a fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. The outlet says the images and related material point to an A20 Pro chip, changed speaker design and a landscape-oriented front camera for the iPad mini. For HomePod mini, the images suggest new green and pink color options. The Apple TV material refers to a fourth-generation model. These are details from MacRumors' reporting on prerelease images, not product specifications confirmed by Apple.
The direct source says October is a common month for Apple announcements and that the devices might be announced within weeks. That is an estimate, not a scheduled launch, price or availability guarantee. The iPad mini chip and camera claims have not been independently tested on a shipping unit, and the images do not prove final retail configurations.
This story is about the newly reported product images, not the separate rumored homeOS hub or a shopping deadline. The source document also proposes an immediate buying strategy and broad device-upgrade claims, but no current retail terms or Apple confirmation support that advice. Readers should wait for Apple's published specifications and sale dates before treating a leaked image as a buying decision.
