OnePlus's China product and specifications pages now list the OnePlus 16 with a 6.78-inch flat OLED display and a 9000 mAh equivalent typical battery capacity. These are specifications for the Chinese model. They do not establish U.S. availability, a U.S. price or specifications for another regional version.
The battery headline needs its accompanying measurement. OnePlus describes a series-connected, dual-cell design: 4500 mAh typical capacity per cell, equivalent to 9000 mAh, and 4390 mAh rated capacity per cell, equivalent to 8780 mAh. Typical and rated capacity are different measures; neither should be silently substituted for the other.
The display specification lists 2772 by 1272 pixels and adaptive refresh rates from 1 to 165 Hz outside gaming. Supported gaming scenarios can reach 185 Hz. The footnote says the camera interface does not support 165 Hz, some apps or pages may lower their refresh rate for power or performance reasons, and games depend on their available frame-rate settings and adaptation. The headline is not a promise that every app or game runs at 185 Hz.
Charging specifications list maximum output of 100 W wired and 50 W wireless. These are peak power ratings, not sustained charging speeds or measured empty-to-full times. OnePlus says the wireless power adapter is sold separately. Battery life and charging results still depend on conditions and use.
The rear camera specifications are a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. The front camera is 50 megapixels. Pixel counts describe the announced hardware; they do not independently establish image quality or a comparison win over another phone.
The China pages name ColorOS 17. This brief does not infer an underlying Android version from that name. The source pages are manufacturer disclosures, not an independent performance, battery-life or camera test. Regional release information, local pricing and hands-on results need separate confirmation before turning these specifications into a buying recommendation.
