Key points

  • OPPO announces an October 21 launch in Mallorca. Model-specific cameras and chipsets differ, selected markets receive smaller batteries, and final prices and availability remain for the launch.

OPPO's October 8 global newsroom announcement schedules the Find X10 series' global debut for October 21 in Mallorca, Spain. The company says it will reveal full specifications, pricing and availability at that event. A global launch announcement is not proof that every model is already on sale in every market.

The company separates the two models' rear camera systems: Find X10 has a dual 200-megapixel system, while Find X10 Pro Max has 200-megapixel ultra-wide, main and telephoto cameras. OPPO describes the latter as an industry first. That is the manufacturer's claim, not an independent comparison or proof that a higher sensor count produces better photographs.

The announcement says Find X10 uses MediaTek Dimensity 9600M, while Find X10 Pro Max is among the first phones with the 2-nanometer Dimensity 9600 Pro.

Regional battery capacity differs. OPPO lists an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery for both models, but its announcement footnote says selected markets receive 7,150mAh instead. OPPO reports up to two days of typical use and over 80 percent of original capacity after five years of typical use, based on its laboratory data. Actual battery health may vary with settings, use and environmental conditions. These are manufacturer claims, not independent tests or guarantees for every owner.

The company says the series includes ColorOS 17 and an AI Mind Pilot Agent Mode that connects with files and photos on the phone. It also describes Open Gate Capture for later reframing of video. Its event page warns that software features and availability may vary by region and software version. Final regional feature availability, permissions and real-world performance need separate documentation and testing.

Limits: the sources do not establish U.S. retail availability, carrier certification, Google-services behavior in every region, a final selling price or reasons for excluding a market. The intake draft's buying verdict and unsupported North American compatibility claims were removed. The confirmed news is the dated launch plan and OPPO's model-specific description, with price and availability still to come.
