Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K100 will carry a 10,000mAh battery - the largest ever fitted to a Xiaomi phone - ahead of the device's October 27 unveiling in China.

The pack uses the company's latest Jinshajiang battery technology with 28% silicon-carbon content and an energy density of 957Wh/L, and Xiaomi promises stable high-performance operation at temperatures as low as -20C. Endurance figures shared by Xiaomi president Lu Weibing claim more than 29 hours of Douyin short-video playback, over 24 hours of live streaming, more than 47 hours of music playback, and over 18 hours of navigation on a charge.

The K100 supports 100W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging, with bypass charging to reduce heat during gaming. The phone pairs a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with a dedicated D2 display chip, and ships with HyperOS 4.

Its 6.83-inch display runs at 165Hz with a claimed 3,500-nit peak brightness, a 480Hz multi-finger touch reporting rate and a 3,500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate; Xiaomi says more than 40 games natively support 165fps and over 100 titles support frame interpolation. The phone has a metal frame, a centered punch-hole camera, a horizontal rear camera module, Bose-tuned audio, and a new Firefly Green color option.

The Redmi K100 launches alongside Clip Neo earbuds on October 27 in China. Xiaomi has not announced pricing or availability outside China; as with other China-first Redmi K-series launches, any global variant typically follows later under different branding, but nothing is confirmed.
